About Cathrena McRae

Cathrena McRae brings more than three decades of experience to yoga, mindfulness, and gentle movement practice. As one of the main wellness facilitators at The Reef House Adults Retreat in Palm Cove, Queensland, Australia, she offers sessions that support guests in finding more calm, clarity, flexibility, and release throughout their stay.

She is especially known for her “Stretch & Breathe” sessions, held poolside in the resort’s peaceful surroundings. These classes are soft, therapeutic, and suitable for many levels of experience, with a focus on easing physical tension, supporting greater mobility, and encouraging mindful breathing for deep relaxation.

Alongside her stretching sessions, Cathrena also leads mindfulness and meditation as part of the retreat’s wellness program. With her steady, compassionate teaching style, she invites participants into a quieter inner space, encouraging presence, emotional release, increased self-awareness, and a stronger connection between body and mind.
